Rice Cooker Jook (Congee)
This recipe requires a rice cooker that can cook “porridge”. We have a Tiger model JKC-R.
Ingredients
2 cups white rice
2 cans chicken broth
2 large boneless chicken thighs chopped
Directions
Wash rice and add to rice cooker
Add chicken broth to rice
Add chicken thighs to rice mixture
If the level of liquid is not to level 2 – add enough water to bring it to level needed.
Set rice cooker to “porridge” for 70 minutes
