Energy Bars


  • 2 cups Oats (uncooked – 1 minute Quaker Oats)
  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup unsalted Peanuts
  • Sesame seeds

Combine in pan and bake in oven while melting other ingredients.

Melt: (using low heat )

  • 1/2 block margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 10 oz pkg marshmallow (large)

Pour melted contents over dry ingredients and mix with wooden spoon. Work fast!  Spread and press on to lightly buttered cookie sheet or pan (9×13). Cool and cut into bars.  Wrap in individual wax papers. Makes approximately 60 bars.
